Join us for an evening of seasonal arts & crafts activities!! Crafting is an all around inviting, participatory, and

community-oriented activity, not to mention great fun! Arts & crafts has been a driving force for bringing friends

together throughout the ages - for the sake of meeting one another and fostering creativity. Open to all individuals

with Ds, regardless of the child(ren)'s age. Siblings are also welcome and light refreshments will be provided.

Join us for a casual meet-up of individuals with a dual diagnosis of Down syndrome and

Alzheimer's/dementia and their caregivers! *Note: your loved one does NOT need a definitive diagnosis of

Alzheimer's/dementia to participate. This is a chance for caregivers and individuals with Down syndrome

and Alzheimer's/dementia to meet others like them in their community. We will have a fun scrap booking activity to do together - bring photos of your favorite memories!


In addition, there will be a brief presentation on Alzheimer's and Down syndrome along with resources to take home. Snacks and drinks will be provided!

A MADSS & GiGi's Collaboration
GiGi's Playhouse (4104 Monona Drive, Madison)

Dynamic Duals, sponsored by the MADSS & GiGi’s Playhouse, is a group for families with a child with DS-ASD

or other significant behavioral challenges. If you want to have a time to connect and have fun, share successes

and resources, brainstorm ideas and strategies for challenges, then this group is for you! Parents will meet in

one area while the children will be with volunteers engaged in developmentally appropriate activities in another

area. Siblings are welcome as well. A light snack will be provided. If you are planning on bringing your child or siblings, please let us know at least one week prior to event, so we can ensure adequate child care. For more information or to RSVP, please contact Wendy Kaplan at: info@MADSS.org.
